NCG was responsible for writing the GAP analysis report, developing the project plan to revitalize the Optram/Maximo solution, and then implementing the solution and closing the GAPS.
NCG created electronic track charts linked with Maximo work orders and with automated track assessment vehicle data. We developed methodologies to identify linear asset condition and renewal forecasting based upon industry best practices.
They understand the data and information that rail maintainers need to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of rail service, also understand how to program the IT/OPTRAM systems to produce a meaningful tool that track inspectors and front line maintainers can leverage to take the right action at the right time. As I've progressed in my career, I've continued to rely on them as trusted advisors for all things related to track maintenance as it applies to software implementation and big data management. There is no doubt they'll continue to produce great results for clients.
Integral to Optram's success in software project delivery and business development.
While leading the MBTA's Department of Asset Management the Net Consulting Group has been excellent to work with. The team are very knowledgeable and professional and I would recommend the Net Consulting Group to other railroads and transits to provide similar solutions. They helped us introduce new innovative mobile and cloud based rail technologies and have helped to create a configurable solution that fits our business model and is being deployed to aid our Track maintenance teams. This data is key to addressing defects on the rail network and is fed into our Optram system and integrated with Trapeze EAM which the NCG team also built for us.
